Elon Bonus Terms Explained: The Clauses That Decide Every Offer
Every casino bonus comes with bonus terms and conditions in two sets: the terms of the specific offer and the general bonus terms that sit above all promotions. The second set is shorter, rarely read and decisive in disputes. This page walks through the clauses that appear in most general bonus rules, what a reasonable version looks like and which versions are red flags. The binding text is always the one in your Elon account on the day you accept an offer; save a copy.

| Clause | Reasonable version | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering | On the bonus only, clearly stated | On deposit plus bonus, or on winnings and bonus combined |
| Max bet with bonus | A clear figure, shown in the offer | Vague wording such as "irregular betting" without a number |
| Restricted games | A short, published list | "Any game at the operator's discretion" |
| Max cashout | Only on no deposit or free offers | A cap on deposit bonuses, limiting wins from your own money |
| Time limit | Proportionate to the requirement | Days for a requirement that needs weeks of play |
| Changes to terms | Apply to new offers only | Retroactive changes to bonuses already accepted |
Maximum bet with a bonus
The max bet rule limits the stake per spin or hand while a bonus is active. It exists to stop players from betting large amounts to hit a lucky win quickly. It is also the clause most often broken by accident, because many games do not block a higher stake. Before your first spin with a bonus, set the stake below the limit and note that some bonus-buy features count as a single large bet.
Restricted games and game weighting
Restricted games are titles that cannot be played with bonus funds at all, or that do not count towards wagering. Lists often include high-RTP slots, jackpot games, live tables and games with bonus-buy features. Playing a restricted game with an active bonus can void it. Look for the list in the general terms; if it is not published anywhere, ask support before playing.
Max cashout, sticky bonuses and wagering caps
A maximum cash-out limits what can be withdrawn from bonus play, and anything above it is removed when wagering is done. A sticky bonus can be played but never withdrawn — it is deducted at cash-out. A wagering cap is a less common, player-friendly rule that limits how much you must wager in total. All three change the value of an offer dramatically; the wagering guide shows how to put numbers on them.
Bonus abuse clauses
General terms define bonus abuse broadly: multiple accounts, shared devices or payment methods, betting on opposite outcomes, sudden stake changes around features, and claiming offers from restricted countries. Honest players fall foul of these mainly through households sharing a computer or a card, or by travelling. If you are unsure whether something you plan to do is allowed, ask support in writing and keep the answer.
Terms also usually reserve the operator's right to withhold winnings where abuse is suspected. A fair version explains how a decision is reviewed and how to complain; an unfair one gives no route at all. The complaints guide covers what to do if a bonus is removed and you disagree.
